QUALITY HUNTING DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS
Welcome to Five Star Ranches! We have two ranches which are both managed exclusively for wildlife and outdoor enjoyment. One property is located deep in the heart of the South Texas “Golden Triangle” of deer hunting, about 80 miles south of San Antonio. The other property is in the Texas Hill Country, approximately 80 miles west of San Antonio. We are a family-owned operation with an intensely managed deer herd, offering only a select few hunts each year. We pride ourselves in the quality of experience that we provide to each of our hunters and derive pleasure in introducing new hunters to our sport. We understand that young hunters are the future of our sport and we make every effort to assure that each of our young hunters has a successful and memorable trip.
Our hunts are 3 days, fully-guided, and include all meals and lodging. During the midday hours hunters are welcome to try their luck with catfish in our two stocked ponds.
We are set up for either bow or rifle hunters. All of our hunts are fair chase with unlimited opportunities for varmints and hogs.
Rifle hunters can generally expect to see 20 or more deer each time out and hunt from any blind on the ranch that they may chose. Bow hunters may use any of our permanent bow blinds or mobile camouflage tents if they prefer. Our buck/doe ratio is approximately 1:1.
As with almost all game ranches, animals that are wounded but not recovered will be considered killed and charged accordingly.
